Spring Term

In the Spring term, during Science lessons, children in year 6 made periscopes to experiment how mirrors change the direction of light.

In Art lessons, children looked the artwork of Barbara Jones-Hogu and created their own prints in her style.

During Geography lessons, children used google maps to locate the Shetland islands.

Autumn Term

Squash

Thirty of our Year 6 students enjoyed an exciting day of squash, beginning with the opportunity to watch the London Squash Championships at the historic Alexandra Palace. The children were inspired by seeing world-class players in action and then took to the courts themselves to try out a series of squash games and activities. It was a fantastic experience that combined sport, teamwork, and fun, giving our pupils a memorable introduction to this fast-paced game.
